The fly is undoubtedly a must have / never leave home without etc and I have used the pattern successfully spring, summer and autumn, even taking a 14lb fish on a riffling plastic tube on the Dee! My only objection is to the size of the flies you are offering in June, with the weather warming up I would prefer to see sizes 10,12,14 on offer. Regards Richard Jones Aberdeen

This is a fly I will allways keep in my flybox. Prime season 2007 there had been no rain for 35 days and Langá, the salmon river in the west of Iceland I fish every year was nearly dry. All pools were full of fish but none taking...no oxygen in the water. Finally I put this fly to the test and the only salmon that day was registered to Ally´s Shrimp.
