I've been using this fly for the last 5 years or so for largemouth bass, usually in late august and early september after the temps go over 100 F. The takes are very dramatic, no idea as to why. This year the high temperatures came early and the carp are up feeding shallower than usual. So i thought i'd try it on them. This fly has been very productive for me. I see that more uk fly anglers are looking at carp fishing and thought you might be interested.
